After working 20+ years in the industry I'm always surprised by the aversion (or lack of thought) to draw up a Venn diagram on a white board to visualise the relation, let alone then write it out using set notation.

Seeing characters from the original be the bad-ass your younger self imagined they were but couldn't be is what The Mandalorian achieved. They crafted a story that allowed that to happen.

Pricing it appropriately would be key, and a price on carbon emissions the obvious solution - and the market should respond.

This takes me back to when I played around with sound using the C64 midi. There were four attributes that you could adjust to try and emmulate the timbre of a particular instrument: attack, delay, sustain & release. Was a lot of fun whe

This list didn't include the craziest drink I found in a Japanese vending machine - a can of Boss coffee latte. I was expecting an iced coffee, instead it was hot enough I could barely hold the can.

The first thing I thought of was the Cloaca (poop machine) at MONA Hobart which is a functional digestive system. The output is not quite as palatable.

I have come across companies who are hosting their mail via a provider (usually cPanel-based) and don't have MX records in their DNS at all; the provider has a failover to route them to the naked domain IP. Absolutely insane because so

FaceBook has Boosted Posts and there's Google Ads, so there is a paid channel for getting noticed if you're not a household name. It also worked for places like NewsMax to get noticed.

Here's the thing - FaceBook is not the Internet, but unfortunately a lot of people seem to think it is and don't bother to venture out of it's closed garden. It's the early days of Compuserve and AOL all over again. This

My guess is that Rupert Murdoch didn't think Twitter was a problem. Possibly because its feeds are not filtered and it doesn't scrape content in any form. It's also short form so you're not going to get a more than a bri

It's only a cosy relationship with the incumbent government if said government does what it's told. Kevin Rudd and Malcolm Turnbull are examples of what happens when you try and dictate terms with NewCorp and they turn on you with

The problem is that truth is always nuanced and never as simple as it needs to be to get a clear message out. It's fluid and a lot of people don't understand it can and will change - or worse conditioned to think changing your opi
