Is this a bug or something[1]? Or is The Verge seriously expecting me to read an entire article in black-on-red? This has got to be some kind of cruel joke, my eyes hurt after about 5 seconds. Who came up with this atrocious design language

To make things even more murky, some octopuses can actually breathe air out of water (which I knew prior to seeing the page), so I was actually semi-fooled by the article as well. An arboreal octopus is actually not that far-fetched.

Fenced frames seem so over-engineered. Why not just add a `fenced` attribute to a regular `iframe` which we can toggle on or off? Looking at the Chromium source, the `fenced_frame.cc` implementation is almost literally copy-pasted from `ifr

Threads is so egregiously corporatist, I don't think anyone that's seriously anti-Twitter would ever consider it a viable alternative. The memes are forced, the "content" is manufactured, and, worst of all, I keep in t

You know what would be better? Maybe a support email? Or this crazy thing called a 1-800-number? The fact that Stripe de facto uses HN as their support forum and that people are lauding them for it is pretty laughable.

I dunno, this seems like it would be out of scope for something like TS proper (there's already been a ton of feature creep, anyway). Reflection is generally implemented via runtimes, which can be very clunky. Is it really worth doing
