I think this is really fascinating but also scary. Imagine you are the best in the world in something. That is your thing and no one else can do it better than you. Then suddenly a computer comes along and takes that title from you. But it

Very amazing news! I loved sublime text and kept holding onto it while everyone else was switching. At some point I got really frustrated with the plugin API. Stuff like only 1 thing can write into the gutter at a time and that relative lin

Deja Vu. Saw this on here already before and if I remember correctly it made HN front page as well. Still a cool project though.

Been using wasavi for quite a while now and really like it. The vim emulation is pretty dang good!

I don't quite understand these awesome lists. From what I've seen it usually ends up being a way for creators to promote their stuff and for the list creator to have a big project with a few thousand stars in their profile. So whe

This is really cool! I don't know what I could do with it but definitely a fun project to play around with.

Impressive project! Still has a good amount of bugs before things could feel smooth but it has a lot of potential. I'll try to keep it running the next days to see how I like it. If it just wouldn't crash on my all 5 minutes

Even worse are automated responses from a no-reply emails like jobvite or friends. If I already took the time to interview with you, invested hours of my personal time into you, maybe even took a day off just so I can make your weird sched

I agree with this. I applied on a handful of jobs stating "work from everywhere you want" in the past only to later find out that they meant US only. Now I want something for asia timezones and I'm happy.

That is very sad. Carousel was a essential part of my photo editing and backup workflow. Maybe need to investigate switching back to drive. The problem with them was though that photos backed up with "Google Photos" didn't ap

Currently not but since the preview is just normal HTML, all we <technically> have to do is load a different css file. You could of course also change the shipped css file and build your own version.

You are right, people that already use Atom probably have a solution inside the editor. I use a different set of tools and sometimes need something I can use to edit my markdown files with a as-close-as-possible github preview.

Glad to hear. I killed most bugs before posting it here but if you notice something odd while using it, please submit a issue on github right away. You could probably symlink `Contents/Frameworks/Electron Framework.framework` (on

I'm usually using gvim for performance. Peeked into neovim before but the only GUI I found was Neovim.app which performed horrible. Anything new in that field?

The first thing I did after the upgrade was disabling SIP. Now my system acts exactly the same way before with all the goodies (except rootless) el capitan has to offer. Having root not able to write system stuff is good for people that lik
