I have 2x 4K monitors, one vertical, so Windows turns most 4K images into a blurry mess as it tries to fit them widthwise and lengthwise. This, on the other hand, still looks stunning.

I compressed the full PNG via Guetzli (Google's high-quality jpg compressor) which took a couple of hours (now 15MB at 84% quality), so here it is: https://github.com/dvasdekis/images/raw/master/pill

Thanks! Makes sense if it's being built as fast as possible given the number of workers available for installation.

The surprising inference from me, as an energy layman, is that solar output coincides with periods of peak demand. Obviously this is seasonally adjusted, but in an era when the Saudis have solar contracts being supplied for $10USD/MWh

FWIW, I went deep with Interactive Brokers for my last Fintech. It was the only place we could source real-time currency options data and we managed to reduce our total latency from market to database to about 10ms by using a NYC datacenter

How did you do this? Is there a tutorial that you followed? I would love to do the same, potentially with Cloudflare further caching the IPFS-hosted files.

How about the difference between this and the Madlib project? Better ergonomics? I've used Madlib in the past and although it was 'successful', the constraint was unfamiliarity with the library from our data scientists, who p

I was thinking "oh! this is awesome!", and then noticed it didn't support MSSQL. Not to worry, I'll just contribute a connector. Let's take a look at their existing connector code... https://github.com&#x

Column aliases would have saved me hundreds of hours over the course of my career. Sorely missing from standard SQL, and would make the need for PRQL less acute.

Bit disappointed that the Netlify Terraform provider[1] isn't supported any more, because it would solve this exact use case (and more complicated ones!) in a much less cumbersome way. I’d love to be able to point a Netlify redirect at
