I wonder if part of the deal is people gambling believe they have insider info, so any story to the contrary to them is clearly a lie costing them money, something that seems extra offensive?

I work for a small SaaS company. We’re getting prospective and existing clients emailing us what look like AI generated spreadsheets with features that are miles long that they want us to respond to. Like thousands of lines. And a lot of

Yeah seems likely. I've seen this pattern CONSTANTLY on reddit where one account asks a question and some other account has just the thing they need ... their own product that just happens to be what was asked for. In this case they s

That's not the worst idea. Honestly, I'm at the point where I'd pay money for an active social media site that varied humans as real people, required them to use their name, and so on. User could pick their own post visibili

I have 2 kids. I choose to limit when they have access to electronics and monitor when they do. No software is going to stop kids with constant access to electronics, kids are resourceful. It's a choice, there's no getting around

Your experience with Claude is surprising to me. At least for me when using Claude in VSCode (extension) there’s clearly defined “plan mode” and “ask before edits” and “edit automatically”. I’ve never had it disregard those modes.

It’s not the first time. Bush Jr. campaigned on “no nation building” and then went on a massive nation building effort that arguably was a failure. Granted Bush Jr.’s efforts were popular and followed some logic. Not so much Trump.

Yeah once a given senator commanded AND paid the local full time legions for a given region, their loyalty followed. By that time too the men serving in the legions were increasingly locals and not Roman or even from Italy.

Reddit software subs are over run. It’s all “look at my new app” and they’re all the same. Same screenshot style, same shallow apps. Other subs are slowly being inundated with hidden history spammers … Bad times.
