I can understand your frustration. I've been there and from my experience; anger is a wasted emotion thats worth channeling towards developing new skills, building new projects or just getting fit. Don't waste your time, it's not worth it.

I would, but I'm not in the hardware space. Having said that, why look for a founder at this stage of the game. You always see YC entrants after the fact "seeking additional cofounder" etc. There was an article flouting around very recently

You take a penny, you leave a penny. That's it, that's the unwritten rule.

Call me old school, but this is called college. I already lived through this once. Although good times, I don't like smelling like week old laundry.

this article says different. http://campustechnology.com/articles/2008/11/csu-system-adop... although I think http://www.moodlerooms.com/ is slightly different.

LMS = Learning Management System Blackboard hurts Universities because it's overly expensive and unintuitive for the price. This new site looks great. I worked on http://moodle.org/ back in the day which is a great opensource alternative.

I'm so impressed with the level of personal projects on YC right now, I don't remember a time when it's been better. I hope my project meets the standard you're setting. Hats off, i'm inspired.

Can you talk about what you did, the process from day 0 to now. I'd be interested in what you learned if anything. This looks so awesome, but I'm not your market. I'll post this on my buildings HOA board.

ATT irritates. this only adds fuel to the fire. how's the service in nyc (esp subways)? can't be any worse than in sf.

He also mentions the paleolithic diet as a cure of type 2 diabetes. Link here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleolithic_diet

If you want the jist of this lecture, around 1:15:00 is a good place to start, he rants about Gatorade and McD's. Otherwise, it's O-Chem(?) up to that point. Very interesting stuff. Less Fructose, more Fiber. Less Frankenburgers, more Fruit

Full agree. Large companies are great if you have a familiy, not if you've something to prove.

Having worked both, I can say I too definitely prefer working in a startup environment. I give this guy in the article a few months before he changes his tune. Working for a large company, I often felt like slamming my head against my desk.

Does it matter, the color of money is (dollars) is still green. Fb has the users, they should get the highest valuation.

While novel, they have a hard enough time providing 3G to SF. Infrastructure here is immensely weak, if they fix this... then i'll be on board for most anything else they are so called doing.
