The Atlantic is a highly respected publication and an argument can be made that they are conservative in that they promote a kinda of neo con foreign policy through David Frum et al's work

We have that today - Sealandia! Also where does today's Taiwan fit in that spectrum? Is it a "compustate"? I agree with the idea but it is no certainty.

What is a more respected conservative publication in Canada?

National post is a respectable publication more akin to the Wall Street Journal. Canadian Breitbart is probably more like rebel news or epoch times.

I shipped godot games on Linux and it just worked. Maybe some people had some issues but it never surface to me. As usual I feel like people make it sound worse than it is. It's not like a barren wasteland of broken apps on Linux.

This reminds me of the "America is run by Lawyers, China is run by engineers quote" We can't let Lawyering/word smithing/insurance manipulation restrain our access to the truth.

Is this person using deep sleep? I always make sure I'm on deep sleep. I know it's gross: Put this in a file: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="mem_sleep_default=deep In /etc/default/grub.d/90_memsleepdefault.cf

Zig honestly blows my mind. I think it's clearly the best next gen language because of the build system alone.

It looks like it's kinda half a parser in that it doesn't turn numbers into floats or ints, so you'd have to build that on top of it. Im still impressed and might use it, but just noting this.

They're just turning the knob down a little bit because it was pretty high last few years and caused some supply side issues in housing and healthcare. I'm sure Canada will gladly accept highly skilled engineers.

Freedom is ridiculous. It's not what Americans have nor want. It's free in a warzone. True freedom is total chaos. Americans do not have nor want real freedom.
