It's a little hard to get outraged about that hypothetical, given that legitimate usage of DocuSign typically involves sending them documents containing all sorts of sensitive information.

Shutting down GMail would practically amount to shutting down email. It's by far the largest email provider in the US (and probably in the world but I don't have that data). There's no other provider who could take up the sla

Given the era, I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to "someone on the development team liked that part". (Or "someone in the purchasing department got a bunch of them really cheap".)

Are you sure that's the only cause? I can think of some other events in 2020 that might have led to a lot of youth dropping out of in-person programs.

I think the problem goes beyond that. Meta never had a particularly coherent story for what "Horizon Worlds" was supposed to be to users - it was variously pitched as an online conference room, a social hangout, a way to explore 3

I'm especially curious how much small-scale shared hosting is left. The big companies like EIG are certainly still around, but the little one-off hosting companies are much less common.

3.5 MB is pretty generous, actually! Some older TI-84 models had MicroPython running on a secondary ATSAMD21 processor with 32 KB of RAM - that was effectively unusable.

The Y piece (part C in the photos) seems a little silly. Surely there are commercially available hose fittings which would be suitable - possibly even ones which a hospital would have on hand?

The underlying tcmalloc issue is interesting - the library was relying on an implementation detail of the rseq kernel API which was never guaranteed, and which already generated warnings in previous versions. https://lore.kernel.

That's two of them - there's also a "redundancy coprocessor" which implements security features like stack canaries and flow control assertions. (As well as the standard ARM single-precision FPU.)

Speed certainly certainly isn't an issue for AX.25. The protocol typically runs at <10 kbps; the overhead of processing packets in userspace is negligible.

TL;DR: because it doesn't actually solve anything. Being able to jam an IPv4 address into an IPv6 packet header doesn't mean you can send that packet to an IPv4-only host and have it be understood. You still need an IPv6 stack on
