Backblaze "B2" is a separate service for blob storage with a REST API. It's currently in public beta. I presume its built on the same infrastructure. You can store about 10GB for free if you want to play around with it. (ba

Yeah, Google did that for a short time. I used to use it to filter out content farms. They've gotten better at filtering content farms since then, and dropped the feature - probably because it was too expensive resource-wise to persona

Yeah, it looks like there is a switch granting photo access to siri on the 6s. This doesn't show up on my iPhone6 with 9.3.1.

My wife and kid are pretty happy with Annie's. Might be worth trying if you're looking for another brand. (The only stuff I eat these days is homemade, typically gruyère-based, but we keep Annie's on hand in case we don'

For many of our reports, we've been using FOP (Apache's XSL-FO implementation). It's an XML format, similar to HTML, with stuff like page masters to help with layout. We generate the XML with a velocity template, feed it in

We use FOP for document-shaped stuff, and it's worked out pretty well for us. But I could see using SVG when you want a single page with complex layout (esp. rotated text, etc.) For an invoice with a couple of fields filled in, you cou

it can be a pain to rewrite that into rst. If you just want to rewrite markdown into rst, "pandoc" will do the trick.

Another one: The second result in a query for "Rogan Josh" is "Jeremy Clarkson" a Person of "Top Gear" fame. Digging up the freebase record doesn't show any obvious reason why this would happen.

I use jq for exploring and light massaging of json data, but for complicated tasks I just write python code. I misunderstood what your library did. jq doesn't cover that - as far as I know, there are no recursive constructs in jq.
