It's probably not worth the time and effort. You can get a judgment, but good luck getting them to pay out on it.

That just doesn't seem like a plausible scenario to me. Obviously, if such thing happened, Biden would have an alibi, since it's known where he is at all times. The people who already hate Biden, probably already think he's d

I miss Flash and all the cool capabilities it had. At a previous company, we built a tool that would allow a teacher to record a video review of a student's animation work, while showing, scrubbing and annotating that work simultaneous

Downtown Redwood City, California, is rotated at a 45° angle to its surrounding streets. Though I've been there dozens of times (worked nearby for 10 years), I still never quite feel like I know where I'm going.

Yep, not to mention the space requirements. It's hard to imagine fitting several robot arms plus any associated machinery into the relatively limited space at the end of a bowling lane.

I'd imagine this would be orders of magnitude more expensive and error-prone than the existing solution. Also I don't even think robot arms are sufficiently agile for this task, since the pins can end up in unpredictable locations

That does happen sometimes, which is very annoying to the purists.

I think they've been improving them incrementally over the years, but it's a monstrously difficult engineering problem to do the following: - Set up all 10 pins reliably and in the same spots - Lift remaining pins after the first

I'm kind of in the same boat re story points and Scrum metrics, but sometimes we can get management buy-in to create a ticket to do this sort of thing, if it's seen as high value for the business.

I recall hearing (can't remember where) that in the olden days, computer programming was considered akin to typing or secretarial work, so at first it attracted mostly women.

Weird - I don't drink Diet Coke anymore, but I remember thinking it was flatter than it used to be when I would open a can. I wonder if they're trying to skimp on CO2 or something.

I feel like it's kind of case by case with the chocolate bars. Overall, quality has declined, but some more than others. I think Snickers are still ok, but for example KitKat is absolute trash, along with Milk Duds, Whoppers, Baby Ruth

See: through, rough, cough, bough, dough, all of which are pronounced differently. My 5-year-old daughter is learning to read, and trying to explain all this is...challenging.

You complain about people cherry-picking an unfriendly suburb, and then cherry-pick a friendly one. There are both types, and it's basically pure luck (as a kid) if you happen to live in a friendly one.

It's not quite that simple. Literally all their schoolmates are watching shows, playing video games etc. So they become ostracized as a result of not having the same context as the other kids. We're trying like hell to slow the on

It was also a bit weird how they kept emphasizing how their on-prem installations were not affected, as if that lessens the severity somehow. It's like duh, that's the whole point of on-prem deployments.
