Two spaces between sentences makes this easy, and should be just as easy a habit as one sentence per line.

Something has changed in Monterey so it is possible to use virtual webcams even with Apple apps (Facetime, Safari, etc). See https://daringfireball.net/linked/2022/05/06/camo-1-6 So it should work not j

My kids and I worked through most of "The puzzle ninjas" by Alex Bellos, and some of the "Pencil puzzles" books from Nikoli. Working on them with others, it's a lot of making little conjectures, testing (proving) t

SVG wasn't an option at the time. Now, support for TeX labels might still be an advantage. These days I just use PGF/TikZ.

The simple text format also makes it somewhat scriptable, so you could make more complex figures than you could make with a mouse, without learning Postscript.

Could you point out your or some of the other places that have a good model for DEI? My department has been struggling with this and will be redoing their mentorship program in the near future.

State universities kind of do have this responsibility. My school is doing more or less this, restructuring some of the math sequences that have a high failure rate, like precalc/calc 1. Also state universities are where most of the p

May I recommend the audiobook version with Stephen Fry as Pooh, and an ensemble of other very talented actors? It's on Audible but your local library may have it on CD. I've heard it dozens of times by now and look forward to he

I mostly agree. I use cheap paper at home, but my work recently switched suppliers and the new stuff is fine for printing, but bleeds terribly with liquid ink pens. Comes in plain white wrapper so I'm assuming it's pretty cheap.

On Mac, hold down the "c" key and a little menu with accented versions (ç, ć, č) appears, with numbers to choose which one. The flip side is that holding down letters or numbers doesn't repeat them on a Mac.
