In most places I've seen, 'quickest' usually refers to straight-line acceleration (generally 0-60 times or 1/4 mile). They claim a 2.8s 0-60 for the ludicrous option, and I believe it's hit 2.6, though I don't

I should let this lie as an explained joke is never funny, but I just can't. USPS - Delivery Point: (1) A single mailbox or other place to which mail is delivered. A street address does not necessarily represent a single delivery point

I like it, but how about we add 2 more digits that don't get printed in human readable format on the mail but are used in barcodes to sort/deliver it?

Countries are not granular enough to use for this sort of thing. I've lived in several places in the US where unlocked doors were the norm, and then in several places where it would be a bad idea if you want to keep your things.

I think they have that. [0] lets you filter by sport (or athelete) to see all the results, and move ahead and back day by day. And I think this[1] is basically what your second query is looking for [0] - http://results.nbcolympi

Wasn't Anthony Kennedy confirmed in 88? Nominated by Reagan with a Democratic Senate? And Rehnquist in 72 (associate justice), nominated by Nixon, again, a Democratic senate?

There's some question as to what that actually shows. Here's one theory that shows it fallen over: https://twitter.com/NASASpaceflight/status/74318210287573811...

The boats are quite a distance away. During the JCSAT-14 mission, there was actually video on the webcast from one of the boats, and the barge was over the horizon. It was night, so it's hard to get a feel for just how far away, thou

I originally interpreted his phrasing the same way as you, but I think it's a bracketing thing: > This doesn't happen in countries unlike the US where "jaywalking" is not a crime or even a concept. I think it should b

Your right-of-way/mutex metaphor is outstanding. I'm going to be stealing that for this and other physical-space-occupying race conditions.

The problem as I understand it is not the cameras, as we generally get footage later. It's that whole "bandwidth" thing when you're 600km out to sea and a 14 story rocket comes flying in and messes up your satellite upli

That was asked on the spacex sub-reddit. The response was something like "you underestimate the power of a Merlin" which I took to mean that a reasonable distance to avoid the effects is too far to reasonably run ship-to-ship cab

I'm not sure if this is a joke or if you just didn't read the article. If it's the latter, the article mentions 4 distributions it works on, as well as the code in the kernel driver that causes it, so yes, we're sure.
