I ran into the same issue (software rendering), pushed through to get it working, and it was worth it. It is extremely fast. I'm on PopOS and the issue ended up being DRI_PRIME. Might be worth trying `DRI_PRIME=0 zed`.

Yeah, but text threads cannot be used as context in the inline assist right now so there's no way to apply the code.

Yes! Editing the whole buffer is a major feature because the more you keep around failed attempts and trash the dumber the model gets (and more expensive). If you're working on stuff like marketing websites that are well represented in

Unfortunately the new agent panel completely nerfs the old workflow. I also love the old version (now called "Text Threads") for its transparency. Even though they brought back text threads, the context is no longer included (or i

> On this note, I think there's room for an open source pluggable PKM as an alternative to Obsidian and think Zed is a great candidate. Unfortunately I don't have time to build it myself just yet. I'm also super interested

+1 for Obsidian. If you like Zed's collaboration features, I wrote a plugin that make Obsidian real-time collaborative too. We are very inspired by their work (pre agent panel...). The plugin is called Relay [0]. [0] https://

You might be interested in our real-time collaboration plugin for Obsidian called Relay [0]. Relay attaches a CRDT to the Obsidian editor. It makes collaboration really smooth and removes conflicts. Markdown collaboration is free, but we do

If you're interested in real-time collaboration within Obsidian, check out Relay [0]. We just released an on-prem hosting of our collaboration server, and we have folder-scoped sharing. We're making Obsidian work for work. [0] ht

Great work! Awesome to see more companies in the Obsidian ecosystem. Have you considered making an Obsidian focused landing page / brand? I imagine that for Obsidian users having Notion as an option is a distraction, and vice versa. Th

I think you might have a fundamental misunderstanding about what OpenAPI specs are for. If you just need docs then maybe that works for you. OpenAPI can do so much more though - it can specify a protocol. If you can't see why a protoco

Yeah, that's fair. Do you maintain any Public APIs or mostly private ones? There are a bunch of trade-offs based on your starting point and where you want to get to. I have found Spec-First is useful for a retrofit and having large org

For me it was two things: - collaborative live API design/review with rapid iteration. - developing automation on openapi specs to help teams avoid making backwards compatibile changes. It is much easier to catch things in design. spec

Relay now supports self hosting the collaboration server. It works with tailscale out of the box. We still have a centralized service for authentication and authorization, but if you self host it is impossible for us to access your files.
