One of the reasons people seem to have an aversion to Vox's format is that it's not meant to be like the rest of news journalism. When they first announced Vox, it was described as such: > Vox.com is news website that helps you

Sorry, I realize my comment was unclear. I meant the actual board in the dock is quite small and easily accessible, so removing it and placing it into a new housing should be fairly straightforward.

One benefit of the dock being so simple is that it should be relatively easy to design a replacement dock that doesn't suffer from those issues. I'm thinking something like Apple's iPad Dock [1]. I think the dock design they

The linked benchmarks are putting the $350 1700X about on par with the $1100 6900K when it comes to both single-threaded and multi-threaded performance. Both of those processors are 8-core/16-thread chips. Also the 1700K is a 95W TDP c

That's awesome! I'm so glad you like the watch you have. However, in the future please keep in mind that just because someone has a different opinion than you doesn't mean that they're less up-to-date than you are. I

There's only three things I want in a smartwatch: 1. Resemble an actual, reasonably sized watch. 2. Display notifications from my phone along with their actions (such as marking an email as "Done" in Inbox, or liking a Tweet)

Hell, I'd be happy with "Do not reboot if there's mouse/keyboard/controller activity." My computer has rebooted literally in the middle of playing BioShock.

I've purchased two certified refurbished Macs, a MacBook Air in 2012 and a Retina MacBook Pro in 2015. Both were cosmetically new.

I loved my Pebble, but Android Wear offers such a superior experience when it comes to notification management. The only thing I use my watch for is processing incoming notifications (such as liking a tweet, archiving an email, replying to

I'm a huge fan of BigCommerce. https://www.bigcommerce.com/ They just rolled out Stencil, which is a local development environment for building the themes for storefronts. It's using Handlebars for syntax, ES6 wit

I ran the Ember Complex List test on Chrome and Firefox on my Nexus 6P. Chrome averaged 240ms while Firefox scored 260ms. Both of these results are slower than the iPhone 5S score of 175ms.

So, how do I pass a model into a component? Bubble an action out of it? It's the integration with Ember that I want.

Most of my apps are built with Ember, and I just haven't quite figured out how to marry them both.

So, I just wanna say I am absolutely, incredibly excited for this. I've loved the design of paper-elements, but I don't want to attempt integrating Polymer into my projects. That being said, the use of BEM is a huge turn off. The

None of the "10 Most Unemployable Majors" are even remotely related to MIS (well maybe graphic design, but I'm sure that number is inflated by a lot of unemployed art majors).

I was surprised this example didn't take advantage of Swift's built-in Comparable protocol, so I rewrote it! I also wrote an example of how you can implement the Comparable protocol for a struct, so that they can then be sorted.
