Ehh, that might be a shallow search. The issue of limited supply runs throughout the piece: towns being surrounded by protected lands where building isn’t possible and NIMBYism.

Yeah, I initially heard it as attributed to Erdős, so the part about it being falsely ascribed to him checks out!

Ha. Now that you mention this, it's kind of surprising there aren't that many references to coffee in modern music (at least nothing this rhapsodic comes to mind anyway). Maybe the stronger stuff is more inspiring in the pop era?

Not just philosophers -- the quote that comes to mind for me is “a mathematician is a machine for turning coffee into theorems.”

Which is to say, yes, they're popular -- they're the vast majority of stock funds.

The title here is missing a key word compared to the source: it's stock funds that have had more cash invested, not simply stock. So it's true that every stock purchase has a corresponding seller, but the same is not true for st

Ah, I was trying to find that article earlier today. (I searched "Sean Spicer data science Twitter" to no avail, ha.) Actually that piece also hints at an uneven understanding of these issues across the organization: > In one t

What’s the concern with sit-on toilets? I get that conceptually it’s kind of gross, but it’s not like germs will seep through your buttcheeks. Doorknobs seem worse since you’re likely to then touch your face.
