Interesting concept, I think I'd personally use it if it's implemented :) I am trying to see if it's possible to do in a completely webapp type method (you can't really expect web developers to integrate code on server side to support this)

Ever since I can remember Dreamhost (~5 years or more?), there were always a way to get a year of hosting + domain for less than $10, and seems like that's their break even point. Their overselling of course, but it works for some people (I

Not stupid at all, Brilliant! I'd be very tempted, I am not location locked working on the current startup, broke, and definitely sounds like a interesting deal.

Chemistry hack. Distilling Alcohol. I wasn't of age at the time, actually was still in high school, and had a hard time getting alcohol, so I decided to make it my self. Designed and built a reflux still with embedded temp sensors, a conden

Dremel picks with wiper blade inserts, saw blades, and hacksaw blades. Hammered/flattened nails make for great toque wrenches (alternative is the flat metal clips on pens).

I use redmine for my current projects and love it. Feature wise, it's about the same with other similar products, but the UI is beautiful and highly usable. Very good bug, issue and source control integration.

You might want give some example uses, I hardly use a timer (if I am it's a countdown for quick reminders). I can see runners using this to track their progress over time. I doubt this is something people would pay to use.

Keeping a notepad by me at all times (I use a pencil sketch pad). Great for jotting down ideas, scratch area, doodle, design, plan. End of day, I quickly write down what I want to get done the next day. Productivity++

Seems like a new development coming from the ushare side, will be keeping an eye out. I still prefer http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver for transcoding and the plethora of other options.

Start a file somewhere (we did Google Docs) or even just a text file, and write down names as they come to you. Then after a few weeks, just look through the list (you will get ideas for new ones since there is a collection to look through)

collectd can spit out rrd files, and there are tons of rrd graphers out there. I use drraw... it's really old and boring, but I like it for it's simplistic and I am used to it. (it's just a perl script you run on your web server, no DB need

Roll your own, start a EC2 box when ever you need one and start openVPN or use it as a SSH Tunnel :) Just consider it as a $0.1/hr charge.
