I would imagine it has to do with the retina where photoreceptors exist /e all of the physical stuff has to do with magnification of the image (or incoming light) onto the retina

I'm not a recruiter (am an engineer) and try to reach out to people that might be good fits. So far I haven't had any that made it to past the initial screen/job-fit that the recruiting team does.
