Actually, Weebly isn't much in the same space. The newly re-designed Google Sites (Jotspot 2.0), site/wiki builders like Wetpaint, or social network builders like Ning are all in the "facilitate group communication" space, and all look to f

In our experience, we've rarely run into scenarios where users forget their passwords and have mistyped their email/faked an email after having spent time on their account. If they haven't spent time on an account -- create a new one! Other

right, because EU startups are doing very well now... cheaper credit/more foreign investment doesn't change the fundamental dynamics at play when starting a company, like how rigid the laws are, or how cheaply one can build a startup.

We're doing some emergency maintenance on the sites, and things should already have been fixed a long time ago. Scaling issues are rough. The good news is that even though our shared-storage system was quite scaling as we'd hoped, we've got

i'm still a bit confused by your point, but advice has been very helpful for us. generally, the person giving advice tries to formulate their advice in such a way that it applies to more than just one situation. advice seems to be most usef

I'd recommend giving yourself 1 extra week from the point you originally wanted to launch. Make sure everything is finished, and give yourself 1 week to actually use the product. Fix all the little things, and add the extra polish, things y

hang out with PB for 10 minutes and you'll hear 10 things that make you say "aha". you've got to be humble enough to realize that you don't know everything, and you won't necessarily stumble upon every realization on your own.

From what I've seen of PR, it's not very effective, especially not for the $/results ratio. The point of Andrew Chen's article is indeed good -- viral growth, if you can achieve it, is awesome. But press is far from useless. I have no idea
