It is more complex than that. Teaching generally pays way better in Canada compared to the average salary than in the US (especially when pension benefits are included). I have more experience with Ontario rather than Quebec. I would say in

I'm sure if we had a histogram of clicking ads versus IQ, it would be interesting but not particularly surprising. Versus age would be interesting too.

Maybe look at Pat Flynn's blog and podcast. He has a lot of info about monetizing.

Well with regards to the post I answered, some have the idea that you locate certain features like eye corners, mouth corners, etc. and then do recognition based on the measurements between these feature locations. One of the earlier succes

I'm a research scientist at a face recognition company. From my experience, we don't use internodal distances, we use information from all the pixels.

I do around 6 TATL flights per year and I often notice it although the intensity varies. On short flights on the Eastern seaboard I never seem to have the same problems.

There was somebody complaining about a shortage of software workers on the Buffalo subreddit recently. When prodded he admitted he was offering $35K a year.

As a researcher at a face recognition company, this is interesting, although the fact that algorithms change pretty frequently makes me think the work is quite ephemeral. Also I'm wondering if he's heard of liveness detection.
