That sounds like a non-issue. Our conscience already "pauses" when we go to sleep or get hit in the head, we already have people being resuscitated...

I actually envy people who have such a drive to live to the point of battling cancer for so long. If I got diagnosed I definitely would just give up.

I don't think you need ChatGPT for that, that's probably already the approach scolars use.

Filthy rich people looking for a framework in which they can get to enjoy being rich, not advocating for any real change in the system, and feel morally superior because they're donating some meaningless amount to charities? Yeah, some

Back during the Brazilian dictatorship, they used to say "we have to grow the cake to split it afterwards". What actually surprises me is that EA was apparently taken seriously. It does explain a lot of the fake goodness Silicon V

I'm gonna ignore this whole "fitness model gaining weight on purpose" because I don't even know how to respond to you thinking this is somehow relevant. What it does show me is that you're quite unwilling to imagine

I think it's a case of "we'll know it when we see it". I agree it looks like moving the goalposts, but I think most people would agree that current LMs just don't feel like AGIs.

I'm down to 71 kg from 83 kg in June, and yeah, that was a major factor to my overeating. Yet, some people have a different appetite, or a different reward system wiring for food, and they just don't feel the same impulse to do it

But that right there is a difference between you and other humans. The idea of "searching for a diet that allows you to gain weight" is absolutely alien to me. I can easily get to 5000 calories a day without even thinking about it

"It's a self-control issue" well, obviously? It's also a completely useless and un-actionable observation, unless your goal is to feel better by pointing fingers, in which case, suit yourself.
