This is like shortening github to git

The version numbers are from a little more than a year ago. Originally, it was pretty much only compilation artifacts and some CLI. https://github.com/rust-lang/cargo/pull/10563

You can fix this by doing `pub use module::*`.

Rust has workspaces, which is a collection of packages (a Cargo.toml and related source files). Workspaces are still pretty underpowered, but they do have shared dependencies, compilation artifacts, version numbers, and CLI management. A lo

They also won't output stuff like progress bars, width-aware content, and may change other behavior. It would also annoying to pipe everything.

There's 48 designs, so this isn't much of a database, more like a short list. For something completely different, my favorite collection of paper planes are those by Jayson Merrill: https://www.youtube.com/@jayson5

Perhaps the prompt wasn't on the broken part? Can also plug in a keyboard and use that if you know the sequence.

So they send you a "High-performance CPU"? Isn't that weird? If you need a CPU, you probably need the whole computer and GPU.

The strong typing in rust definitely helps with this, though. For most problems, you can encapsulate a refactor into something that, at each occurrence, either works automatically (with things like generics and deref) or fails to compile.

Usually on these sites, there'll be an `overflow: hidden` element that's holding all the content. If you can find and disable that CSS line, it'll work as normal. Or just save it to the Wayback Machine and read it through tha

It would have been shoved backwards relative to the original orbit, perpendicular to the direction of the black hole. When you think of orbiting as "falling and missing continuously", the lowest-energy way to stop missing is to st

The developer side sounds pretty bad. > we're able to pay developers a recurring revenue stream, as long as people are playing their game. That's how normal game sales already work for non-replayable games. Good indie games are

It's a private key so sharing it kinda defeats the purpose. This also only works because the modified part isn't being used.

They meant that when you turn on Chrome's dark mode (for the browser UI) it also enables `prefers-color-scheme: dark` for websites. These are always synced as far as I know.

The test is valid for any combo of shell and terminal, it's just a matter of figuring out which methodology was used so it can be better understood. But yeah, I agree with the other comment that powershell is likely adding less than 1m

With text content, most frames are exactly the same. So what adaptive sync can do is delay a refresh until just after the content has been updated. At a minimum, it can delay a refresh when an update is currently being drawn, which would lo

This video is not a steady 60FPS. Lots of frames are duplicated or torn. Maybe this was originally 60FPS and got mangled by the recording process.

Powershell isn't a terminal (it's a shell, obviously), so the windows results are most likely tested in conhost. If it's on windows 11 it might be windows terminal, which may be more likely since I think cmd is still default

Only things I can think of is that for windowed apps, you have to wait for the OS to hand you mouse events, since the mouse may be on another window, and you have to render to a window instead of directly to the framebuffer.

The page still loads in HTTPS, but turning off HTTPS-only mode means that the HTTP requests succeed, at least more than before. So I guess there's nothing wrong there. The blue ticks actually don't work, though. They're alway

There's definitely something wrong with this site. If I turn off HTTPS-only mode, it makes a perfectly straight green and red bar at 2000ms.

You've got it backwards. The big files are menus that have been scanned with no compression at high resolution. Most of that info is vector/font on a properly designed menu.
