They're implying that you're not a hacker because you appear to lack the hacker's mindset. Maybe you have it for some interests but not others but from the hackers that I've seen it's usually a driver for much of t

In every single one of your responses you've omitted the possibility of there being an option for people to run sideloaded apps while allowing you the ability to stay in Apple's safe embrace. Just like you say "we can use And

I don't get why on Hackernews anyone would ever defend Apple here. Regardless of whether they're right to do this if Epic wins their court case against them we stand to gain the most benefit. Apple's incredibly high walled

Looks cool, Zillow is similar but it unfortunately makes you sign up first. I like this. On an unrelated note, how did this link get onto the front page with only 3 points? How does the ratings thing work here?

Nice how browsers have trained people to be scared if there's not a lock. It's just an expired cert, not revoked, and you're not entering payment information.

How else am I supposed to read his tweet? He asked what happens if his site goes viral directly after asking for the extra users feature to be blocked. I think it's ridiculous to look for some finely grained charging scheme from a sta

This is Sweeney's doing. You really think he's going to stop at a deal just for Epic? He has a righteousness streak that a lot of people seem to not understand and I don't know why.

I'm going to be blunt here and say that you're wrong. There is no difference. The news may be curated and may be for a specific audience but the odds that it's just as useless to you as mainstream news is still very high.
