I can't speak for where you are, but here in North America (well Canada & the USA) to go from [cell phone customized for service provider] to [cell phone customized for you with apps that you selected to use] was never a simple process

Its unfortunate there wasn't a better solution for your colleague. The half hour ride in the morning isn't at a hard enough pace to make me a sweaty mess, though if it did, luckily, we have showers (along with a gym) at the office.

Biking to work is great. For me the hour spent commuting guarantees some sort of exercise 5 days/week and I can add to that with something else during the week or on the weekends. Its also a great way to wake up, and to get my mind in the

It depends on what problem you are talking about. Something as general as 'numbness', has a multitude of specific underlying causes; to treat those causes you need specific solutions. If you believe that psychotherapy can be effective in tr

Brilliant, I'm quite impressed with this. Not only can you find related music you can also quickly find an artist's videos. It doesn't work as well for up and coming artists, does anyone know what database it plugs into? It doesn't look lik

Its a long speech, but for me, it was worth reading. Hillary Clinton doesn't get into many specifics, not as many as I'd like, but she does describe a substantial outline, and I'm happy to find myself optimistically curious about how the US

"Maybe in the end, even on the Internet, you get what you pay for." I'm not sure that I want to read the book, but that was an interesting review of it. The last paragraph had me thinking about 'free' in the context of music. We've had free

Bill Waterson's Calvin & Hobbes poem introduced "defenestration" to me when I was young young young: "The monster, in his consternation, Demonstater defenestration". Its such a great word, and he was such a brilliant person, and a great

You've backed up your comment with one 2 minute long video - that is a response to a heckler? Hicks performed for over 10 years - and covered a lot of ground during that time. If you see his performances as juvenile or foul, you've missed a

I like Dawkins. I find his voiced thoughts intelligent, interesting and precise. Most importantly, it sounds like this book will provide a good summation of Evolution. Well thought out books that summarize an area of knowledge make it easie

Google has invested in lobbying - for at least the past few years. You can read a 2007 Washington Post article about it here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06... It would have been careless for them to avoid th

I think the conclusion fits neatly in to a different idea: more time is spent on relationships that are of greater value. (I don't equate value and returns - you could have a harmful relationship that you greatly value) And with communicati
