There is a privacy setting forcing all tag requests to come to you for approval first. Obviously it isn't easy to discover, however.

And don't forget, due to the PATRIOT act, simply having that information obligates facebook to serve it up to law enforcement without a warrant any time they ask. Think about that next time you "like" the High Times fan page or post "I'm go

Sites like Hacker News comb the net and bring interesting web sites and articles to my attention, in a world where everyone can be a writer. And in a world where everyone can be an artist, musician or movie maker, there will be ways to filt

If you know what the word is, an asterisk doesn't hide anything. If you don't (what are you, 3?), there's nothing to hide. I don't think nudity is obscene either, but I can see why people might want to remain private. Just because I know wh

Off topic, but can we please stop pretending that an asterisk means you didn't just say "fucking"? That is pure superstition. If you're going to use a word, use it. If not, don't. Fuck.

Lamarckism is evolution too. Don't confuse Darwinian natural selection with "evolution" as a whole, which basically just means change over time.
