Oh, and my other favourite corvid story - there's a guy that walks three very old dogs in my local park and he occasionally throws tiny treats down for them as they walk around. Crows started following him around the park for the treat

Thanks to Merlin Bird ID, I've got rather into birds in the past few years. We have a robin and blackbird that hang out in the garden with us, seemingly unafraid. A couple of months back I bought a camera feeder [0] but we've stil

I came quite close to buying a tube carriage a couple of years ago but it was slightly too long for where I wanted to put it.

Good timing, thanks, just scratched Blacksmith off my shortlist. Depot is the current front runner.

I can't imagine they'd release a crappy folding thing like the Samsung, I think it's more likely to be effectively dual-screen that can be unfurled into something where the two screens are side by side.

I posted something very similar on here last year after a visit to Ibiza - as we sat eating lunch in the castle in Ibiza old town, a group of young women spent the entire time we were there, maybe an hour and a half, in turn posing for phot

I remember our home stereo in the 1970s had a rubber non-slip-matt with concentric grooves in it, often flexi-discs were so flexi that that the needle would follow the groove on the other side instead of the one on the disc. They were almos

I just tried it as Slack is such a bug-ridden piece of crap these days, unfortunately it just loads the Slack website in a view, so you get all the fun of Slack's bugs in a slightly crappier interface. Edit: I should say it's not

I paid for Kagi's Orion (even though it's actually a little crappy) because I want options in the browser landscape. I'm really rooting for Ladybird, and just in case they don't offer a paid version in the future, here&#

As a non-US-resident (and full disclaimer - someone who believes gambling should be in the same regulation bracket as smoking), honestly it looks like the US have collectively lost their minds with Polymarket.

I tried this out after finding it on one of your comments yesterday, the good: it set some values in global config files for me which was handy, the not so good: I still haven't managed to make it find any project-level configs. Either

You can make a farm and then you get wood a lot. The mechanics are a little painful though, I've got horrible cramp from playing on a trackpad, and the fact that scrolling around on the trackpad zooms instead of moving the viewport e
