I think what your missing bud is that "writing the code" is caching for the LLM. Do you think caching is going away?

Agreed. I've engaged with different tech since moving things along is now easier.

I've been vibe coding this and that all summer. I'm making a team retro clone for sprint retrospectives, a typeform like form builder and hosting, a Reddit client with AI analysis of trends and a few other things like in various s

Imo we're going to start needing more examples of where the successor is better than what came before, and not just benchmarks.

It's not wasted imo. Llms don't get 'it'. They can't tell what's truely good. You have to guide them. To do that you have to know what your doing.

I've often associated quick thinking with lack of thinking. It's intuitive and prehaps emotional. In some cases folks I've seen who were 'quick witted' completely lacked a filter and it didn't help them at all.

I completely disagree. Sometimes it makes things harder but not 100% of the time. Sometimes things are only the same temporarily and shouldn't be brought together.

We also recover from many things so being sick once more is something we might recover from. Some know it's a there time and other really could have years so hope plays a part too

Luck being something you can't control is wrong. We know shit just happens so you set yourself up so that when it does your ready. Ie if you like seeing birds I recommend taking a camera. Not because it'll improve your luck but be

Unless the new language was a super set of an existing language. I think a stricter version of python or even typescript could be do-able.

Just fitting types and repo map into context eh? That's great. Any other tips?

No but it means your missing my point. Do you click those keys for their own sake, or are you doing it for some other reason? Personally I don't code because I love the letter E. I'd prefer if they all appeared on the screen witho

Get a key logger and track the repeated keys you hit. Arrow keys, hjkl or w/em just the keys that take you to the place you need to be. While your at it you can tell me about your favorite click.

I go the other way. The subscription and the agent are the main draws for me. Everything else I do outside of Cursor.

Good for them. IMO they should ditch the editor though. I see no reason that they should tie themselves to one editor. It seems like a waste of time. If Claude code let me use me subscription I'd be off cursor pretty quick.

What programming languages need is dimensional analysis. The fact that I can make variables like Const km = 1 Const velocity = 11 And do km + velocity = 12 is all kinds of silly.

I guess I mean that I can learn about something from sources other than ads. How do Ads compare to, say, reading something on Reddit? Or do social media posts also count as ads to some degree? The things you've mentioned can be done by

Doesn't "some ads work on you" just translate to "you have interests"? Or are you suggesting the ad itself does "something" to people that wouldn't have happened if they saw the content of the ad some
