If we’re evaluating cost, surely micropython is at least $5 of lost functionality for a single chip. Only at scale would you see any savings.

So... no, not all jobs are manufacturing. ️Was soapboxing necessary?

According to the article itself, it either may or may not. So why say anything about it?

I’m not sure I agree with the statement—humans overlook basic details all the time. Most computer bugs are “extremely basic”. Multiply times possible failure points and it’s easy to see how basic flaws can easily cause systemic failure. Exp

I’ll have to check it out! There’s also Sappho, although I’m much less surprised poetry is personal.

The entire idea of specialized regions is incredibly frustrating. When will companies invest in remote work?

Note I said “a little”, not “little”. You can quibble about the amount but I was trying to explicitly say that the Oddysey IS an example of this in ancient lit. Still nothing compared to Macbeth or Hamlet, though.

Greek literature doesn’t have THAT much feelings. There’s nothing remotely in the realm of Hamlet in all of ancient greek lit to my knowledge. Calling it a return is a massive stretch of the Euripides example—I always viewed his works more

Hell they’re even creepy and draining in the US. If you work in retail, you can see middle age white women get away with behavior (entitlement, rage, abuse) that would normally get cops called were they a different person. Customer service

While the Euripides is an excellent counterpoint, you’re not acknowledging the clear rhetorical turn that started with the western novel (or shakespeare, I guess).

I interpeted “feelings” as “explicit emotional introspection”. There’s a little of this in the Oddysey, but the first book I can think of that clearly does this is Don Quixote. It’s absolutely absurd to interpret the article as saying write

I didn't know about this Cathedral until I was looking into what I might find in Barcelona earlier this year. It's entirely easy to imagine not knowing about it until I showed up.

This seems inherently contradictory. Secondly, maybe dance has something to say about architecture. Have some imagination. Judging how others appreciate just makes you look ignorant. This is not a new theme to art criticism.
