What's stopping the app creator from asking the user (in a settings" page) which browser s/he wants to open web pages in? Default will be Safari, unless changed explicitly

i dont know much about this industry, but I am guessing the delay works to some organizations' advantage. Don't they get to keep the money longer in their accounts and thus have better cash-flow (on paper, at least)?

I completely agree with your analysis, but it only holds in countries where there is an official Apple store (vs. distributors, who at least in one location that I know of, provide a bad customer service)

unfortunately, I must agree with you. 9 times out of 10 candidates cannot answer the question you've posed. One time I even had a candidate with 17 years of experience (!!!) who didn't even know what a join was (masked in a question form).

it's interesting that no one mentioned the good produced when a company that does not do "good," per se, makes good money (for profit) and then donates some of it to worthy causes. I personally think this is the ultimate win-win situation:
