I'm also a French taxpayer, I regret coming back to France every time I read about something stupid they do with our money. This Pneumatit thing is really something.

It was because of the bad things I read about warranty/support that I bought my Note Air 3 on Amazon. I paid a bit more but at least I knew I could return it easily if there was an issue.

I got pretty good results with the autoimmune protocol (pain-free plus no more brain fog after 3 months of the elimination phase.) I talked about it to my GP who told me to do an allergy skin test, because blood tests were not 100% reliable

Furiously spamming ctrl-c trying to quit ? ctrl-f and ctrl-b are the one I use frequently and amongst the first ones I learned.

Well, there's Intellij IDEA with the scala plugin, and it's pretty good. I regularly debug my code in the IDE with conditional breakpoints, etc. SBT still makes me want to throw the laptop through the window.

It's also a native app running on a lean OS, not something written in JS running on what can be thought of as a VM (Electron.) Another cause of software slowness is all the layers of abstractions. The author uses the Amiga as an exampl

True. On the other hand I like that the menu is on top on the screen so I can just throw the pointer up (I use a trackball) and it will end up on the menu, no precise targeting required.

The validation is not completely thrown away, since the type indicates that the data has been validated. I understand "parsing" as applying more structure to a piece of data. Going from a String to an IP or a Username fits the def

We're already using Liquibase where I work (I don't remember exactly why it was chosen over Flyway.) I also worked at a company where every DB access had to be done with a stored proc. The stored procs would be reviewed by the DB
