You may find what you're looking for on either the ALU wiki ( http://wiki.alu.org/ ) or the CLiki ( http://cliki.net/ )

I just use a blood pressure cuff. I was wondering what kind of cuff. The electronic ones or the old-school ones? (My original question was too vague, sorry about that.) As for the wake up temperature, measure your temperature as soon as y

Cool experiment! Have you thought about measuring your waking body temperature as well (as an indication of your basal metabolic rate) ? What are you using to measure your blood pressure?

It's less fraught than exceptions in the sense that it offers more options for recovery. With "regular" exceptions by the time your handler executes the stack's been unwound and the context of the error vanished; you only have what informat

The movies about Dick Proenneke are amazing. He filmed himself building his "house" and then proceeded to film and document his surroundings. When watching him build the house in "Alone in the wilderness" I thought that was what "flow" mus

Arch does not maintain a complete copy of all python scripts, the packages just include a post install step that uses sed to replace python with python2 in the shebang lines. For example see the PKGBUILD for Django: https://projects.archli

Letting the caller do the handling and giving it access to the dynamic environment where the condition was signaled is a feature. This paper by Pitman helps to understand the design choices www.nhplace.com/kent/Papers/Condition-Handling-200

I think the problem with saying that Go can be used as a C++ replacement is that the statement is too vague. The problem space in which Go is a great tool and the one in which C++ is a great solution have a big overlap. But that does not me

Go does not have generics per se but that container looks pretty generic to me. What's your definition of generic programming BTW? I'm looking at several definition right now and cannot find out if, for example, a generic list container

Go has interfaces, which can be used to write generic code. Go performance is not on par with optimized C++ but for me it's fast enough and the performance / dev_time ratio is higher.

The introduction would be nice, especially since it contains a "note for non UK readers", a group I'm part of. Still, I'm thinking about going freelance, the book is reasonably priced and the table of contents looks interesting.
