It is completely unreasonable and (willfully) ignores the long, long list of places where Mozilla has fought against the other vendors including (especially) Google on privacy grounds. It's the sort of thing people say mostly for their

Dude, I have literally 4,000 tabs (not a joke), and my Firefox is fully loaded on boot after only a couple of seconds. Something is wrong with your system.

The kneejerk Mozilla hate on HN gets so fucking tedious. Google's marketing budget for Chrome is greater than Mozilla's entire budget. They sponsor a Formula 1 team FFS. They spent a decade paying off Adobe, Java, AVG, Avast and

Sodium ion is more useful (relatively speaking) for grid backing than cars. Weight and power density aren't so much of an issue in that application, longevity and price definitely is. So they can probably pivot if the administration s

I donate to Kent's patreon and I'm very enthusiastic about bcachefs. However, Kent, if you read this: please just settle down and follow the rules. Quit deliberately antagonizing Linus. The constant drama is incredibly offputting.

Rust isn't that difficult really. Easier in many ways than C if you're building normal software and not, like, a library of fancy data structures.

pip? A tool written in Python is never going to be as fast as one written in Rust. There are plenty of Python alternatives and you're free to use them.

What part of "strategic precision bombing is not the same as carpet bombing" did you not grasp. Yes, I agree that bombing random forest is not that useful.

This is grammar-hacking and misleading. According to the IAEA, Iran has around 400kg of 60% enriched Uranium. Nobody disputes this. There is zero reason to ever enrich beyond around 5% for civilian purposes, and zero reason to ever enrich

This stuff gets grammar-hacked a million different ways. Yes, 60% enriched Uranium is not weapons-grade, but it can be made weapons grade very quickly. Once you've gotten to 60%, you've done 99% of the work - U-235 starts as such
