I started with an Amiga 500. Wonderful machine, but the lack of a built in compiler/programming language that allowed you to access the power of the machine was a lack that limited your learning. I think it resulted in me taking a ver

What I don't understand is what value do people get out of promoting this type of conspiracy theory? Who profits? Is it just attention seeking or is there some profit motive? If so what? I'm all for exposing corruption and I th

Australia was originally settled (by white people) by criminals and their prison guards, by your analysis we should be a bunch of people who never talk to the police. However this is not the case, most people will happily give the police a

Our experience following the covid lockdowns and everybody working from home is that even if a majority of us are in the office, we still have meetings over Teams. It allows far better control, easier background chat, sharing ideas that ca

I work from home... but I'm not alone.. I've got as much, if not more access to co-workers whilst at home as I do in the office. We use teams extensively so if you are needing to concentrate, simply flip your status to busy. We&

I'm wondering what type of fires these were. There is a vast difference between a forest crown wild fire, and a cooler one that mostly works burning undergrowth and leaf litter. Still fires, still covering the same amount of ground,

You are correct, two choices are not enough. The problem is that both of those choices are significantly influenced by big business. Google has a "free/open" version you can use if you like and also on their more restricted
