As a viewer, I get minimal entertainment and no value from them, and having cut the cord long ago, I find them irritating. I'm hoping my kids grow up to be irritated or intolerant of commercials as well.

My family and I 'cut the cord' in 2005, back when Netflix meant DVDs, and other than access to sports, we haven't missed TV at all. These days we use an Apple TV 4th Gen, with only Netflix, Plex and KPBS apps, and I believe m

I've also made my own MacBook stands, but using MakerBeams[0]. After receiving a kit as a gift, I messed around with several small projects and simple things, but I've consistently used the stands since I've built them. Ver

When I was heavily into playing Hearthstone, I would regularly watch streams of players with better-than-average skill. It filled a niche for me, watching them judge circumstances and make good plays. I did the same with Overwatch, only to

I'd welcome other opinions, but I find Laravel's support for 3rd party tools/frameworks to be genuinely superb. They save me time on ramp up and implementation, which is often the single biggest bottleneck for shipping side

I really like it - very fast. I note the Compose Tweet FAB is another step towards a bland, Google Material user experience.

At this point I'm still thankful Netflix and Hulu even have an Apple TV app - Amazon still hasn't made one for viewing video.

I sincerely applaud your dream here, but 'wild' just isn't adequate. Having looked at setting up Hackintoshes, I can tell you Apple is nowhere near where it would need to be to enable/support an enthusiast market.

Given all the friction and various issues, I still don't see why a hackintosh with well-supported hardware running macOS isn't an option.

It's interesting to me how few people consider this an option. I got a 6i5 and other than wifi, macOS runs great on it.

I also really hate this trend. The apparent consequence of Mobile First is that we've collectively shifted focus to mobile at the expense of desktop (and tablets) We were supposed to focus on BOTH.

Modern CSS frameworks try to be modular, aided by some form of css preprocessor. As a result, you can typically import only the parts your site uses. Also, as the sibling comment points out, minification + gzip will take that even further.
