> Fix the hard-coded Docker daemon process name. The process name should be dockerd instead of docker. Why is this a security issue? Also, beyond naming convention, why?

This isn't really new. You've been able to do this with LVM for years, but it isn't quite as graceful.

It's probably not just the chip, Intel provides financial incentives for manufacturers who build products around their chips.

Every single day! Both to grouse about technology in channels dedicated to them and to speak socially with friends. I find it pretty confusing that I see posts like "is IRC dead?" or "does anyone still use IRC?" as often

I'd love to switch but the technique of having one browser import another's bookmarks, settings, and autofill just isn't good enough anymore. I have no fewer than 28 extensions installed on my Chrome installation and while no

Are you talking about Panic? I don't see them mentioned anywhere in that article so I'm pretty confused as to what you're talking about.

This looks really good! For a long time Jenkins has seemed like the only option for flexible jobs. Tools like Drone and Travis and the many other that use a "config file" approach just aren't able to scale against your needs.

A common argument in favor of bitcoin and other crypto tokens is the large cost reduction of sending money, commonly paired with the US figures you mentioned. I find it fascinating that the much saner situations in the EU are never mentione

Are they though? I looked on Amazon; the price difference between a 'regular' 32GB microsd and a 'high endurance' card of the same capacity is $3 (7.99 vs 10.99).

I'm not flying soon so I don't have a flight number to put in. I wish I could see your app! Maybe you could show a feed of random flights or the longest flights of the day or something like that that I can click on.

I'm not familiar, but this seems unlikely to happen for something as small as a Dropbox bill. Debt collection is a 'regular' business - it's simply uneconomical for a business to pay people to pursue your $9 Dropbox debt

This look nice, amazing really. However, like others have pointed out, some people may be uncomfortable giving a 3rd party a doorway into their systems. Is a self-hosted version on the roadmap?

Good work! I've written something similar - an SSH server and X desktop (served up via a VNC server) in Docker. It's a reasonable base for building this sort of thing. You can build an image on top of it and throw in whatever GUI

Cloud instances are generally firewalled off from each other, usually cross-account, vpc, etc. Two machines can't reach each other just because they're AWS instances. That would be silly.
