Unless I'm mistaken, by paying for an internet connection, the "fat-cat vc funded video content providers" are paying for "their mp4-based saturation".

Sites like this are annoying. "Join the waitlist!" Except that we don't know what your product is. And when I do finally get accepted on to the waitlist, I'll have forgotten why I was interested in this in the first pl

Isn't that essentially what bumpers on cars are for? To prevent the product from breaking?

"much money" and "decent money" are very different things, potentially. If he's helping pay his parents mortgage, he's making "much money".

This looks interesting, but the Cathode-based video is extremely distracting.

Neat comparison. But it would be nice if there was something on the initial screen that suggested scrolling. I just thought that a black page locked Safari.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you're actually developing new applications with CodeIgniter? Ugh...

There's some "law" that says news headlines become more difficult to distinguish from satire. I have trouble with stories from The Onion all the time. Please tell me this is one where I'm just having trouble, and it'

I worked at Yum Brands when that version of the site was first created. It's much older than 2006 though.

I don't think they're "luring" them to stick around. But if the OS is still in use, shouldn't the (arguably) most used piece of software still be secure?

Sadly, the article is rather difficult to read, as the interstitial ad redirects you back here when you click the "X". Come from https://www.google.com/#q=http:%2F%2Fwww.ft.com%2Fcms%2Fs%2F... , and it works fine.

In what case would the data be "already sent to the client side" that doesn't involve essentially transferring the entire data-set? The search is certainly useful with 100 records, but if I can return only the 10 matching rec
