Question as a non low-level developer, and please forgive my ignorance: How is it that we're essentially 50 years in to writing sorting algorithms, and we still find improvements? Shouldn't sorting items be a "solved" pr

Symlinks were a thing in the NT days; you just had to use a downloadable tool from Microsoft. Googling doesn't seem to provide much information any longer, unfortunately.

How well does clang-format handle subfolders with their own rules? I don't know, as I'm not a C/C++ developer; but I know that the tools I use don't handle them very well. I still provide them, of course, because it'

Sure, it's difficult for a committer to keep up with all of the different styles. Imagine being a developer on a project with 50 different committers, all doing it their own way. As a committer, I would rather have it clearly explained

I first saw it because someone made a calculator within their fortress. That interested me, but I don't know of any particular thing that made it popular with "the masses".

Ah. I thought terrible meant "issues using the service." I do have some annoyances with how I'm charged for things, but I don't mind paying for services ($2/month for 200GB) that give me things without resorting to

I think the implication wasn't that they were interchangeable, but that the machine they were expecting to see used CRTs, and instead, they found it using MCM.

I'd be interested to hear what issues you have with Apple's cloud services. I, personally, have had no problems, but am definitely curious.

I'd note that many people in my social circle and family forget that iron is a basic nutrient. It happens. People forget that sodium is as well, especially with all of the talk about how bad salt is for you.

Templates need some level of logic, yes. Putting the entirety of the business logic in your templates is not only bad, but dangerous. Because unless you're replicating your business logic in your non-template code, I can change thing

IMHO, developer time is more expensive than CPU time; I don't want or need to have to write out all of those requires. That's the job of the autoloader. And if I'm writing my code remotely well enough, each section only use
