Check out the home page: http://www.codeyouridea.com/ :o I don't necessarily agree about the long text blob however, I had to read that to really understand what he was doing.

99% of my apps require 0 permissions. I really believe that a lot of my success comes from this. I never download anything that requires anything other than the Internet permission, maybe Location, and sometimes SD Card modifications (thou

I'm with the poster. I play reruns of TV shows in iTunes throughout my day. The white noise from meaningless TV is one of the only ways I stay productive. I find it 100% impossible to work with Music on. I just can't handle it. Every 3 m

You are missing his point. He could have replaced guitar with model airplane building, riding bikes, making friendship bracelets, or training a giraffe. The point is, good time management makes time for the things you need to make time for

But asking for the username after sign-up gets you the user's email address. If they don't create a username, you can now provide direct support and ask if they need help with the next step in the sign-up process, etc.

The way I read it, you didn't destroy anything. You had a moment of panic, and could have created real problems. Regardless, same lessons learned right? :) Whether the server is gone or not, it could have been, and the way we work changes

I completely agree. With a service like this, I think someone would know instantly whether or not they were going to use this service in the future, and having the option to do 3 designs just delays the inevitable - that they will pay. BU

I'm just saying it isn't fair to Heroku to take 100% responsibility. Do you now have to go to the customers of YOUR app hosted at Heroku and take 100% of the blame? Or do you tell them it was Heroku? Were YOU using more hosts than just H
