OK, but tomorrow when I've forgotten that I've done this and I do a quick search, if the very first thing that comes up isn't what I want, I bet I switch right back.

Because of my Calendar and my todo lists, and my emails with friends and family, and my searches on Google, I do think that Google could know precisely what I may be trying to map as soon as I open my maps app on my phone :) I just emailed

Someday, Google will know what I'm going to Google before I Google it. It's going to see a pattern of what I watch on TV, the websites I visit during the day, and on my phone, who I talk to, where I go, what I do, the kind of busi

My guess is top management may have been more worried about employees selling their laptops with trade secrets on them and then claiming they were stolen.

Full disk encryption. This is the first thing I do as soon as I get a new computer. The thought of losing one of my work systems terrified me before. Now I have peace of mind.

So, if I can just do what the Fuck I want to, then can I download your code and then re-license it as proprietary and charge royalties to everyone else who is just doing what the fuck they want to with it? I mean - I'm doing what the fuck I

AGREED! WordPress should actually have a "Naked" theme as one of the defaults, absolutely. Why a well-commented naked theme isn't part of the default WordPress install has never made sense. I had to make my own with each new version of W

All these bundled game packages are turning games into something like trading cards rather than games. People I've heard from say that they never get around to playing the games, but they buy them in bundles like this because they can get a

Thank you, this method worked and my account is permanently gone now. I still run my blog at another location so I can maintain my content which I prefer to have some level of control over - even if it isn't total.

How does one opt out? I've migrated my blog to my own system so if I want to make changes to an old post I can, but I won't be able to control my content that you are archiving which is a problem for me. It's actually rather bothersome to

Great point. My first thought was, anyone who doesn't know how to, or doesn't like to play chess would not create a topic on this page. The game-as-captcha idea is good tho, IMO. I was in a forum talking about this with fellow game devs a

I totally agree, but only in the FizzBuzz case. It's the perfect, super-simple puzzle that can be solved quickly, but let's you see how a programmer might approach a problem, how they like to code, and their go-to language, etc. It's not li
