Why not be a contractor then? You get to do whatever you want whenever you want and get paid when the job is done, and done correctly (granted you've setup your contracts this way).

Author of this needs to run a company for a while. If you really are the 110% employee you say you are, you are an edge case. The reality is, most people need to be told to go here, sit there, do this, for X hours, and I need these results.

Nintendo comes out and offers a game with a few free levels, then pay-once, and you get the whole game. Seems like exactly what everyone ALWAYS asks for. We constantly see complaining about micro transactions, etc, and Nintendo goes with t

This was definitely my biggest negative for us. We have a bunch of devices, and my kids want to play, but I'm just not shelling out $9.99 for each device.

It looks like the quote in the article also says "free content" so there is definitely some confusion here. Yet the notification I received IN the game today was titled "new feature added". So, maybe features aren'

I've flip flopped on this over the years. I've finally settled on this: Why are dev tools 1-size-fits-all? What is that? I should be able to say, turn on all the tools, or just give me simple mode. For a lot of websites I create

Pokemon Go was a start. Mario runner - everyone expected it, of course. BUT, I personally believe, should they decide to make it, a Nintendo Universe game will be the biggest thing to ever hit mobile. If I can create my own massive Ninten

Oh but you can. You can almost argue that we've settled for every other endless runner game only because it sort-of reminded us of Mario and ultimately, we've just been itching to play a Mario runner on our phone this whole time,

I own about half of these too. Been on a little collecting spree lately. But this is a definite buy. Can keep my other Nintendo hooked up to the projector, and put this one in the arcade cabinet.

The blowing on the cartridge myth was always funny. People still think they have to do it. The actual trick is to stick the game in, and after you push it down, you then slide it with your finger to the left or right about a half-centimete

I appreciate that they made a "deal". While there are reasons for giving it all away because it's public and paid for with taxes and donations, I think this just means that they will be able to produce more and better conten

I think it's problem is that, as a user, I've pretty much ruined it for myself. I follow almost 1300 people. I don't even know how it got to that. Probably 2% of those tweet regularly, about 0.1% tweet anything valuable or
