I'm also holding out with i3 until the wayland ecosystem matures a bit more. I am thankful that a wayland equivalent already exists though.

Definitely a preference thing, but how many windows do you actually have open? At home and work I configure four virtual desktops: firefox, emacs, terminal, misc. I usually have spotify open or more rarely a file manager in misc. I can then

This is really great! The tui is very intuitive and the auto-complete a great addition. It even highlights keys and values differently: https://i.imgur.com/mrOMBUi.png It also handles redis server weirdness as well by faith

Apparently OP does -- What are you asking? Some people are motivated by the allure of fringe projects. There's usually a lot of exploration and learning involved with those projects, which can be very rewarding. Not to mention you gain

For sure, you can avoid awkwardness by not statically verifying memory usage & invariants (c++, etc) or using a GC'd language. Rust's ownership and borrowing rules are limited, but simple enough for someone to internalize them

Haha, that's right. But I'm too cautious to make claims that I haven't researched, or hasn't been researched. I'd like to see some more concrete studies and maybe even safer product designs. Juul itself is a predato

I think that comparison is fair to a point. My suggestion to ban particular flavourings is related more to the fact that cigarettes taste nasty. It would be helpful to be able to make comparisons here from a marketing standpoint. Not to men

I'm not sure that's the solution - it removes a useful tool for curbing cigarette use. They're simultaneously cheaper, have no lingering smell, and (anecdata) are healthier. Regulators were too slow to ban advertisements of t
