Maybe I misread the article then. If data.google.com, data.google.org makes more sense than google.data (which I agree, it does) then what would the application of .data be? Would google.data be an all-in-one resource for all Google API c

So is .data just another way of pointing to an API? So if hacker news had an API, you would call up news.ycombinator.data all of the time? It would be awesome if this was the case, but even better if people that had .data domains came to a

I figure there were services out there like it, but I thought I'd put a fresh, free face on it :)

I clicked on "Now click here!" and it gave me the shopping cart, then I click on "List" to edit it, and it showed the text box again. Once I click "Save", then it doesn't show the iPhone. If I click on "List again to edit it, it still do

These would indeed be an interesting statistic. Maybe I can create my own little "analytics" tool and show stats for every page visited. I'll provide a follow-up shortly. For the other points, nearly no traffic is driven to my site by Goog

This comment doesn't even reply to the original question, and the site doesn't even use Twitter Bootstrap.

Good point. It won't show you the box to comment if you're not logged in.

The "apps" page was the homepage previously. I'll try to cut down on the faqs on the homepage, and try to make it more visual. What do you mean make it easier to post discussions and comments? Should I allow them to post comments, and on

Hi Mike, I have created a free service for app developers to connect with their user base through discussions, bug fixes and a static FAQs section. I have some features I will be working on soon (closing bugs, assigning bugs, "private" apps

I'll take that into consideration. I was originally going to be called appchat, but all of the domains were taken, and I already had purchased dcmntr.com

I don't think it adds value, but meh, I just added it and forgot about it honestly haha. Basically, I wanted to originally create a documenting system to track bugs, so that is where the idea originally came from. I was basically trying to

I guess I need to make that more clear. Maybe I shouldn't have the random app so prominent on the home screen, and make the "For Developers" and "For Users" be what is drawn to the users eye first. EDIT: I reworked the home page, and added

Thanks! Whoops! I guess I didn't really do my homework in researching it. Honestly, I saw it as a combination of Show HN, but also a forum. It allows devs to get their work out there but also a platform to start discussions. Plus, for now

The idea sounds pretty cool, but 20 cents seems pretty low. I'm no sure what the market for reviews is though. Is it possible that those reviews can be made public? It seems like if there is a bunch of rave reviews but it's all private, it

This is a pretty cool product. My cousin and I are actually developing a very similar product, but it provides enhanced information similar to that, along with different templates for different industries. Hopefully I'll see your product o

What exactly does it complete? A set of predefined variables? The only thing it was able to autocomplete was the word "function" while using Javascript.
