Hi @gtrak, why not :) Just make a proposal on the site, see what people say. The idea is for the conference to be shaped by the people, everybody has a say.

Hi @gnufs, the idea is to have it done non-profit. So I'll be looking for volunteers to help me out with this aspect. Or I might approach Confreaks since they do a lot of conference filming. But not really sure how they operate...

What has to be noted here is that this is published on Russia Today. From my understanding of it, it tries to offset the US crazies like Fox and its ilk...

Hi, no need for remapping of any keys if you are after Esc. Just type Control-[, it generates Esc by default.

Interesting discussion. I had to buy a laptop recently and as much as I like the look of Mac's Air it didn't have a right Control key. That just frustrated me as I use Emacs and I rely on a working right Control key so much. I know that the

Redcarpet is great, but for code highlighting you can use pygments.rb, which has an embedded python in it and is therefore faster than albino. Check it out: https://github.com/tmm1/pygments.rb
