author didn't mention users at all.. maybe because they won't see any difference? maybe except css filters, but we are yet to see webgl being used in production environment where mass audience is the target those things are really cool from

WebGL is not supported in IE because of some important reasons, it's just not secure enough.. yet. Most succesful games are not using it anyways.

you should start from giving some numbers i.e. you want it to work for 10mil documents, how ofter they will be updated etc. if it's less than 1mil and they are not updated frequently, you should go for postgres and have some fun with SQL, m

Your idea is great, but you will end up with average Joe using it for other cases thus MongoDB will be nontransactional database engine with SQL interface and sharding feature, which will be much slower and will have less features than any
