Inexplicable indeed. Have we solved every other major problem facing society to the point where we should be focusing energy on child run lemonade stands? I am doubtful. I think the bureaucratic state has gone far enough. This is a shini

Pray tell, what language or framework would not experience minor performance issues running at the scale they do?

I feel like I should turn in my nerd card, as I had no idea Google was currently offering two factor auth. Thanks for mentioning this!

I cannot stress how much I agree about exercise. About 6 years ago I started going to the gym regularly* and lifting. That was really one of the best single changes I've made in my life. I feel more energized during the day (no more coffe

Your comment really resonated with me. I'm no Apple fanatic, but I too am far more saddened by this news than I would have believed. I wonder what else he would have come up with if he lived another 20 years? I'm sad I'll never get to find

This thread is indicative of the bias I see on HN. .Net and Java are "uncool" and therefore must not be suited for solving real world problems or doing interesting things. They are also often synonymous with bloated corporate bureaucracie

I love the Spotify iPhone app, but when I've compared their selection to Rhapsody, I find that Spotify is lacking much of the music on Rhapsody. Right now I'm paying the ten bucks a month for both, but I need to curtail that soon. Do I tak
