We are looking to put together a strong core team to deliver our vision. Both myself and specially my cofounder are engineers and code constantly. We are looking for like minded folks with a true passion for state of the art algorithms to j

absolutely agreed which is way in almost 80% of cases we ship the computation to the data by running in the same data centers where the data lives.

actually many algorithm developers choose to share their source code on our platform. They still have an opportunity of making money because when our users run their algorithms (even if they are open source) on our platform they get paid.

Yes 100% agreed. One of our goals with Algorithmia is to have all these libraries already there , preloaded, available and standardized around a similar api signature. This way you can do exactly what you described or quick A/B testing

We used the Stanford NLP library with their training data set which is considered to be one of the better ones. I did notice false negatives as well but it can definitely be trained to be more accurate.

I am not super familiar with the the feedly api (or how it works) but integrating with Algorithmia should be really simple. There is a registration link at the bottom of the blog post and you can check out the docs at http://algo

Yeah some of the results are not great, a lot of READMEs are purely build info or license - we tried to a degree to filter those out. Hopefully you at least discovered one repo that was relevant and hadn't seen before - so much hidden

We are just showing the versatility of the platform through a real world use case. LDA is hard to implement/scale for the untrained same as many other machine learning, optimization, graph traversing, etc algorithms. What we are buildin
