Agree! Like a Judge I was thinking: obviously there is a payment dispute since otherwise why would I be reading pleadings? But where in hell does it say what IT is? The whole long story behind the dispute may be interesting for the writer

This piece would be more powerful and elucidating if it similarly wrote out in plain English what the US was doing in the Middle East in the first place. This piece focuses on means. We need ends too for context so we can better evaluate ho

I want to better motivate my question on traces by quoting from a paper I enjoyed reading: https://homes.cs.washington.edu/~ztatlock/pubs/verdi-wilcox-... which gives this example for a distributed lock: mutex(τ )

OK, that's clearer. Thank you. Certainly not nit-picking, but it's worth pointing out in passing that computing the state to check qll the interleavings --- albeit not actually running each path through the reachable states but lo

While tla+ supports pluscal so the the spec is closer to imperative programming one ultimately would do it's true there is an insuperable gap between the spec and implementation. It should be noted dafny and Verdi are better here. Both

I agree with the question: is anything really be solved here? No, not really. A db table of jpegs taken at different points in the hand off is essentially fine too. Carfax seems to so fine without blockchain. And really the bottom line is t
