Really? In Australia Oats are labelled as having protein in the nutritional information but they are deficient in lysene.

Well they say "Solein, protein out of thin air, is not a plant nor an animal. It originates from a natural, non-modified, single-cell organism" so my guess is that the specific micro-organism is a trade secret to protect their bus

If their website is to be believed, yes: "Solein is 65-70 % protein, 5-8 % fat (primarily unsaturated fats), 10-15 % dietary fibres and 3-5 % mineral nutrients. The macronutrient composition of the cells is very similar to that of drie

It says that it's a biorecator: "To put that in perspective, Solar Foods explains that the newly-built factory’s bioreactor can grow the same amount of Solein protein per day as a 300-cow dairy farm would produce milk protein"

Someone is going to get left holding the bag. The reason I said 100 years is because the US went off the gold standard in 1933 (although it had a weird modified version until the 70s). There are individual stocks that have been around for o

What you're talking about is using money to buy a commodity as an investment. If the currency WERE the commodity, and assuming a deflationary environment, working people would find they would have a decreasing share of the currency to

It has no underlying fundamentals. Its value is 100% speculative. Gold is somewhat similar, in that it's value is mostly speculative, but it does have some inherent utility/value. Bitcoin has value for the same reason that vinta

If you were to choose between a little bit of inflation and a little bit of deflation, you should choose a little bit of inflation. Deflation means people have a greater incentive not to spend, so dissuades investment and thus innovation

If one could have a "free market" in the sense that there were no state to begin with (which one can't) then you wind up with anarcho capitalism, in which a single entity wins because returns to capital accelerate. This singl

You just have to be a bit more specific. I have had success with AI writing code but I have to drive it. It’s a massive time saver though. I have also had success with classification tasks, like look at this email and then look at this list
