Why does Netflix only allow 4-10 character passwords? My weak password is 14 characters. There is no reason to have a length limit.

I'm sure if you think of any successful web site/app they use some type of framework, even if they made it themselves.

If you use a decent web framework for your project, I think PHP isn't a terrible solution. It will be maintainable, organized, thoughtful, and documented. Obviously in the end, it's still PHP , but a good framework makes those more complex

If I go to google.com and run the query myself, I get Facebook as the first result but it doesn't actually go there. For me, this query: https://www.google.com/search?q=www Does a search for FB, does not load FB though.

Scored a 70 with my less-than-great laptop screen. The problem with any of these online tests is that it is skewed based on your monitor, graphics card, OS, and browser settings.

I use PhpStorm for working on very large web projects. When working with smaller frameworks or just writing a script or something, I prefer the aesthetics and simplicity of Sublime Text. When working on large projects I find that having a g

I'm not an expert on automotive engineering, but I don't think removing any electrical component from your car will increase fuel mileage. Most cars have the serpentine belt on the engine also connected to the alternator, so the alternator

As an avid bowler, this video/story sends chills down my spine. Being so close to the Big Win and not quite getting there, it's very sad indeed... But, he got a couple 300 games, and that's nothing to be ashamed of.

I've always disagreed with this XKCD. Given a passphrase dictionary attack, the passphrase would be discovered in less than a minute. And technically, if you didn't know the format of the password, and you were just trying to get a random 1
