I find the email address & name field when you first hit the page very jarring. When I first hit the page I'm not ready to give that info. I want to learn a bit before then. My first instinct (like a cat swatting at a dangling rat)

jQuery 3+ minified is 31Kb.... Wtf is the problem with that? Can we just admit that vanilla JS is not ideal and having some abstraction (and tiny bit of page load) is worth it? I am not building web apps that are primary used in Sudan wit

Our highest growing app was launched over 3 years ago so there wasn't much competition in that specific space. Lately we have had a lot of copy cats (even taking the exact same name). Our goal is always to be improving the apps and add

Very nice write up. I too am a Shopify app developer with 4 apps in the App Store, currently doing around $56k/mo and growing ~$2k/mo for the last 2 years. Biggest thing is that the ramp up time is very slow. You're not going

A very interesting problem to solve. “Who determines truth? You do!” Based upon who we trust to know and relay these truths. That’s the problem with fact checking. It leaves the “powers that be” in control to narrate what the truth is. The

Does the law still work perfectly at very large distances considering single or zero photons (or gravitons or whatever) hitting a surface? I guess is there a mathematical difference between a completely continuous and smooth distribution of

Anyone else concerned about placing these on every block? How do they affect birds? Bees? Or the local level tracking they can do on your phones now... Ain't no hiding.

I think it's the easiest way. Creating your own app or service from scratch, marketing it, and retaining users long-term is nearly impossible (seems like). All of those problems are solved by integrating with a 3rd party.. Granted, tha

Shopify Apps can be largely just API calls using any language/framework you'd like, or you can use their Embedded App SDK which is more JS-heavy. I built the Custom Fields app with Drupal 8 and PHP 7. I chose that stack because th

We probably get like 20-30 support tickets per month now (we used to get about 50 per month). It can be a drain as neither I, nor my business partner really want to deal with it. We haven't hired anyone to deal with it yet... The issue
