Is there a tech hub in DTLA? I cannot think of a single company. There are companies in Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood (all combined are still less than the westside), but DTLA seems to have nothing of note.

Clickbait. Pure and simple. Not only that but sentences like "I appear to be the highest ranked openly female member there" appears to be a person obsessed with points, giving validity to clickbait. I have enough points, go ahead

I speak Italian, and even I am grateful for the subtitles. I'm as far away from Sicilian as possible. Many of the great classic Italian movies are in (Southern) dialect, so I tend to watch them with subtitles. Need to watch this movie

"The primary route across Long Island — Interstate 495" Off-topic, but as a native NYCer, we would never call it that. It's the LIE. I once had a woman ask me in the parking lot of a Walgreens how to get on the 278. I was puz

Subsidies must have some effect on the price. As the government subsidies for electric vehicles diminishes, the overall price diminishes as well.

How does someone with such a pedigree not know how to program before university? I grew up poor in an immigrant neighborhood and even in the early '80s (really bad time in NYC), I was coding Basic in sixth grade on a Commodore Vic-20.

"American made" I am assuming the author meant headquartered in the US, because many foreign vehicles are actually made in US.

They could start off by help cleaning up a person's feed. Users should not be able to see if a friend likes or comments on a post. It creates noise. Many are turned off by Facebook because of all the noise that is generated.

I do not say that I lived in a bad neighborhood! :) Then again, everywhere was bad in the '70s and '80s, especially during the crack epidemic. Just a very immigrant community. My family was the token white family on the block (but

Hopeflly PDFBox is more stable than Apache Tika. Tika has become bloated with all the different formats that it supports. Latest version of Tika parser has 44 compile time dependencies: http://mvnrepository.com/artifact&#x2F
